Account Setup

A Bristol Maps account is required to access group features, location sharing, freight tracking, and other connected services.

Creating an Account

  1. Open Bristol Maps and go to the Tools tab
  2. Select Sign Up
  3. Enter your email address and create a password
  4. Verify your email address
  5. Sign in with your new credentials

Info

Your account is managed through AWS Cognito. Your email address serves as your username for group invitations.

Signing In

If you already have an account:

  1. Go to the Tools tab
  2. Select Sign In
  3. Enter your email and password

You will remain signed in until you explicitly sign out.

My Account

Once signed in, the My Account page shows:

  • Email -- Your account email address
  • Subscription status -- Whether your subscription is active
  • User ID -- Your unique identifier (used by the system)

A valid subscription is required for all Bristol Maps features. See Subscription & Billing for:

  • Pricing and free trial information
  • Managing your subscription
  • Cancellation instructions (iOS and Android)
