Track Lines¶
Track lines record your vessel's position history over time, creating a visible trail on the map that shows where you've been.
Enabling Track Recording¶
Track line recording can be enabled in Settings:
- Open Settings from the Tools tab
- Find the Track Lines section
- Toggle Record Track Lines on
Info
Track lines record in the background as long as GPS is active and recording is enabled.
Configuration¶
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Record Track Lines | Enable or disable position recording |
| Track Line Interval | How often a position is recorded (in seconds) |
| Maximum Positions | Maximum number of points to retain in history |
Tip
A shorter interval creates a more detailed track but uses more storage. For most fishing operations, an interval of 10-30 seconds provides good detail.
Viewing Track Lines¶
Track lines appear on the navigation page as a line showing your path. You can also view saved track lines from the track lines list:
- Access the track lines list from the navigation settings
- View individual tracks with timestamps
- Delete tracks you no longer need
Managing Storage¶
Track lines accumulate over time. The Maximum Positions setting limits how many points are stored. When the limit is reached, the oldest points are removed as new ones are recorded.
You can also manually delete saved track lines from the track lines list to free up storage.
