Join a Fleet by Code

A fleet join code links your Bristol Maps account to a processor's fleet. Once you are in, that processor's tenders, freight, and fleet messages show up on your Tools tab.

Where to get a code

The join code comes from your processor, not from the app. The popup spells it out:

  1. Contact your processor or fleet manager
  2. Ask them for their fleet join code
  3. Enter the code below to join their fleet

Info

The popup notes that your processor can find their code in the Bristol Fleet Processor Portal. If they do not know where to look, that is where to point them.

Entering the code

  1. Open the Tools tab and sign in if you have not already.
  2. Find the processor section. Tap the + button next to the processor name or the processor dropdown.
  3. The Join Fleet popup opens.
  4. Type the code into the FLEET JOIN CODE field. It is capped at 20 characters and is converted to uppercase as you type, so you do not need to worry about case.
  5. Tap Join Fleet. Cancel closes the popup without doing anything.

What happens next

If the code is accepted you get a Success message. The message from the server is usually along the lines of "Successfully joined fleet! Awaiting approval." -- your membership may need to be approved on the processor's side before you see their data.

The app then reloads your account info and your group list, so a new processor or group can appear without restarting.

If the code is wrong or expired you get an Error message asking you to check the invite code and try again.

Nothing showing up yet?

Joining a fleet is not the same as being granted fish ticket access. Delivery and sales data has to be turned on separately by your fleet management team in the Bristol Fleet web app. Tap the fish icon in the processor section to see that explained in the app.
