Voice History & Transcripts

Voice sessions on your group's channel are recorded, transcribed, and summarised. If you were running gear, asleep, or out of coverage while the fleet was talking, this is where you catch up.

Opening it

Tap the voice status bar on the map to open the voice channel panel, then tap Voice History.

If the panel shows a MISSED RECORDINGS count, tapping that badge takes you to the same place. The badge counts sessions recorded while you were not listening.

The page header shows the group name followed by Voice History, with Recordings and transcripts underneath. Close returns you to the map.

Recordings tab

The Recordings tab lists sessions newest first. Each row shows:

Element Description
Time When the session started, in your local time
Duration How long the session ran
Participants Who was in it
Summary The first part of the AI summary, if one has been generated
Status Ready when the session is fully processed, otherwise the current processing state

If there is nothing yet, the page reads No recordings yet.

At the bottom of the list, Load Older Recordings fetches the next batch further back in time.

Reading a transcript

Tap any recording to open it. The detail view shows:

  • The session time as the title, with the duration and participants underneath
  • A Summary card, when a summary has been generated
  • The transcript itself, broken into segments with the speaker's name and a timestamp on each

Back returns to the list.

If the recording is still being processed you will see Transcription in progress... instead of segments. If it has not started yet the message is Transcript not yet available. A session where nobody actually spoke reads No speech detected in this recording.

Playback

The Play button in the top right of the transcript view plays the session audio back. While it is fetching the audio the button reads Loading... and then Requesting..., and while playing it reads Stop. Tap Stop to end playback early.

If the button ends up showing No audio, Timeout, Error, or Not connected, playback could not start. Not connected means you are not currently joined to the voice channel -- rejoin and try again.

Daily Log tab

The Daily Log tab groups everything into one card per day. Each card shows:

  • The day, written out
  • How many sessions there were and how much total talk time
  • Who was active that day
  • A summary of what the group talked about

If nothing has been generated yet, the tab reads No daily summaries yet. If you are not currently joined to a voice channel it reads Not connected to voice channel -- join the channel first, then reopen the page.

Summaries are machine-generated

Both the per-session summaries and the daily recaps are written by AI from an automatic transcript. Engine noise, wind, and radio chatter all degrade transcription. Treat a summary as a pointer to the recording, not as a record of what was said -- if it matters, play the audio.

You need a connection

Recordings, transcripts, and summaries are fetched from the server. None of it is available offline.
