Install. Go to app.bristolmaps.com/mapsdownload, click Download Installer, and run it. Windows and Mac (Apple Silicon); on an Intel Mac, use the Using an Intel Mac? link under the button.
Sign in with the same Bristol Maps account as your phone or tablet, then click Sign In. Subscribed on iOS or Android? That’s it, there is nothing more to buy.
New? Click Don’t have an account? Create one, fill it in, click Create Account, enter the code from your email, click Confirm Account, then Subscribe Now ($200 / year through Stripe).
Download maps. Open the Overlays tab. Under Map Overlays, download the imagery for where you fish.
Download NOAA charts. Click NOAA Charts, click Download on your region, and tick Display ENC Charts. Bering Sea pot boats: download Western Alaska and Bristol Bay.
Connect a GPS (computers have none built in): File > Settings > Devices > + Add Connection. Skip this if you are planning ashore.
